Interesting Picture

While browsing for info relating to the Falaise Pocket, I came across this picture:

The trailer is a Renault UK, designed to be towed by the Renault UE, a handy armoured tractor much used by the Germans after the fall of France.
Presumaly the trailer was being used by the Germans and was then pinched by the Jeep's occupants.


So the photo shows an American Jeep being used by a Canadian unit and towing a French armoured trailer that has been liberated from the Germans...
