A naval version for Warhawk?

I share with you some pictures of fighters Curtiss P-40 operating aboard aircraft carriers or on the flight deck. Some questions for aviation and history enthusiasts of WW2. These were likely P-40s being carried to a combat zone, there were no naval versions of the P-40.
These may be pictures of USN escort carrier USS Chenango which transported 76 P-40's to North Africa during Operation Torch.
It was not unusual for carriers, especially escort carriers, to transport and launch land based aircraft during WII. Both RN and USN carriers flew off Spitfires to Malta, and it was common practice for USN escort carriers in the Pacific (as when they flew off P-47s to Saipan in June 1944).
