Just a quick question -

These two trucks are both labelled as Praga AN-4, but they are very different:

The top one looks very like a Ford AA-clone (like a GAZ AA etc etc)

The bottom picture has 2 similar (same?) trucks in - are these both Praga AN-4?

Both of these cars are indeed Praga AN-4. AN-4 has been made since 1924 till 1939. The top one is the old version with old cab, the bottom one is version with modernised cab which has been in production since 1937. And just for an add, the newer AN-4 at the bottom pic has been in use by Prague's Gestapo during German occupation of Czechoslovakia and then captured and used by insurgent forces during Prague's uprising in 1945.

Nah, that Greyhound, half-tracks, Tatra 111 and Tiger 1 replica belongs to private owners. These "German" half-tracks and Tiger I are from Military museum in Rokycany, I believe.

Thank you so much! I have added the photos to the vehicle records, and will add the new vehicles when I get the chance.

One question - the museum website mentioned a Morris Commercial C8 FAT, and you have given photos of a C8 GS and a CDSW - is there also a C8 FAT or am I mistaken?

Hi all!

haven't been here for a while. Again a little update. Comet is finally running and was shown in yestearday's 10th Tank Day show. IS-2 is still in reconstruction, just as LT-35/PzKpfw 35(t) engine. Unfortunately the Praga LTP is probably still in Peru, allegedly in harbor ready for transport already since June, don't know why it stucked there. On the other hand, museum has just stared reconstruction of another piece and that's one of theirs T-34/76s.

Work on IS-2 is done.

A few months ago, the museum also managed to get a few new pieces from Sweden. Among them Sav m/43 assault gun and Pbv 301 APC, both based on Strv m/41 chassis (which was license-built Pz-38 variant for Sweden) with Pbv 301 being post-war variant.
