Kriegsprache

Postby Tom Houlihan » Sun Mar 29, 2009 5:35 am

Kriegsprache is a glossary of WWII German military and period specific words, phrases, and abbreviations. Over 7,000 abbreviations and more than 17,500 words and phrases have been collected to aid the student, historian, and researcher in translating and understanding German documents, letters, and reports from WWII.

At the moment, it's only available through my Lulu storefront, http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=252773 I am waiting for the ISBN to be processed. When that's been added into the MS appropriately, it will then be eligible for sale through the International Amazons, Barnes & Noble, etc.

Still, I have to admit to being quite excited at having reached this point. It only took about 4 years!!!

I'm still awaiting the answer to my question re,'Tornister', the 'pony skin' back pack, a German once refered to his as a 'Monkey Pack' in English.

I recommend the book by Tom, it is a very useful addition to the library in my opinion.
