The Armour Quiz

Postby Christian Ankerstjerne » Tue Jan 29, 2008 11:54 am

The rules are simple: If you answer the question correctly, you get to ask the next question. To prevent the thread from dying, if a new question hasn't been asked three days (72 hours) after an answer was confirmed, anyone is free to ask a new question.

Here's an easy one to get things started: Which UK tank destroyer, based on the Valentine chassis, was armed with the 17 pdr?

I'd agree with Sturmtiger - it was the Archer. The old reverse into action method and with artillery crews no less
I try!

British (very) light tank designed for Airborne forces (glider delivery rather than parachute IIRC)
I don't think it was ever used in combat, though

Interesting... the Tetrach spawned the Alecto, but what came from the Harry Hopkins?

Sadly my tank books are still in boxes (moved on Friday)
