Some of the parts of each one were manufactured by the same company?

Probably not same engine manufacturer (B-17 had Wright engines, P-51 had Allison or Packard built engines).

They all had NACA-wings?

It is not design company, so maybe somebody like Boeing had a big hand in manufacturing them?

Chuck Yeager is still not the right answer.

Let's make this really simple. Think Boeing!

Ricky is so close he should smell it. ;)

Alrighty. I'll let y'all off the hook.

The answer I'm looking for is this; Basically, all are part of Boeing's product history but not technically part of it's manufacturing history.

The P-51 was designed and built by North American. Boeing designed and built the B-17. Rockwell took over North American and became Rockwell International. Rockwell built the Space Shuttles. Boeing took over Rockwell a few years ago.

I could have also included the F-4 Phantom (McDonnell-Douglass) and the AH-64 Apache (Hughes) as their companies are part of Boeing as well.
