I'll fire away...according to the Biography Goering by Irving used as my source,,what plane flown by the Allies infuriated Goering the greatest or did he hate the most of the tens or hundreds which his Luftwaffe face...and such appointed a manufacturer/head luftwaffe heirachy to try and copy come up with a similar designed aircraft???

and part 2 why...one was speed, the other being what???

your right...Ricky as no night fighters except perhaps the me262 could try and catch it and bring guns to bear flying close to 400 mph at night...but the wood being the most puzzling as it had such a low radar signal, that AA guns or stations could barely scope, and only when it was so close that by the time crews where alerted it was already dropped it's ordnance or has flown clear from the scene...

Moskito? Germany's version of the Mosquito but the project was plaqued by bad glue and resins.
