Nein! Germany (including Austria) was the second-largest producer of motorbikes.

Yes! 425,000 produced

The rest of the Allies combined only produced another 105,000.
Germany/Austria produced 305,000 (plus a bit)

It was a gradual process of elimination, bit like fighting zulus really!

O.K My Question to the esteemed Company I find myself in:

Michael Wittman had a lucky escape at Villers Bocage when he drove by a British Cromwell Tank, 20 yards away exposing his side armour to the hidden british tank.

Why did the British tank not fire?

The gunner was outside the tank.

I can't remember why now - call of nature?

Correct! Though call of nature implies he heard the mating call of a fox!

He went for a peepee!
