Name is Golladay.

I am on several other boards as well.

Some personal info. I am 24, a graduate of Davenport University with an Associates of Science Degree. I will soon be going back for my Bachelors as the new State Bar rules, well actually its just the law schools themselves who want a damn bachelors degree before they will admit me. So more money down the drain and a few years more at a time when the dollar is on the verge of collapse. Just great.

Current Hobby: I am writing a series of stories on CF.net called collectively New Charter. Basically in this alternate reality, Satan answers Churchill's invitation to declare war on Hitler (Yes I know he did not actually say such words) and the Damnation War kicks off. I'm writing it partially as a response to the shear stupidity in Stuart Slade's Armageddon story. Obviously Stuart Slade missed the part where the demons are mentioned in the Bible as wearing Iron Armor and wielding Iron weaponry or the fact in the vast majority of cases, the Iron Chariots were defeated. In Judges 1:19 the enemy commander wisely did not pursue into the hills where his chariots would have lost their mobility thus he won, the Isrealites simply did not have the ability to fight on the open plains against the chariots which is why they always tried to lure them into terrain where they could be immobilized in the Bible.

The series synopsis.

During the Damnation War(1941-1961), humans learn a few things. One bronze is deadly to demons. Two, crosses do nothing, chevrons which Jesus actually used as his symbol are anathema to demons. Three, Historical Jesus was a Gnostic, Socialist, Thrice Married Man with several kids, Rightful King of Israel, and had four brothers, and two sisters. Four, resurrection is possible when a demon accidentally resurrects General William Tecumseh Sherman from his peaceful rest and General Sherman is not happy about it.

However, Satan is not stupid and adopts human weapons and arms his Legions of the Damned with them.

The Gnostic Gospels are discovered a year earlier and contain much knowledge needed to fight Satan's forces. Still the war drags on till 1961 and mankind is nearly made extinct. Victory comes when Jesus comes back to life along with his mother, wife Mary, his son Judah, his four brothers, his sister Miriam, and cousin Matthew the Evangelist.

But it is not the start of a new age, but a New Charter as the God El and his wife Asherah step in and bring several races to Earth from their dying worlds. These races include the Athiestic Aser (Hawkmen), elves. orcs, and several other races.

....................................................

Things that tick me off in history discussions.

1. People who let the Wehrmacht off the hook in WW2. Lets see, the Wehrmacht, not the SS, ran the POW camps and millions of Soviet POWs were starved, beaten, and worked to death in them.

2. People who glorify Rommel. Newsflash the man was an arrogant, reckless, and ruthless commander who covered up several massacres of French and British POWs by his own troops in France, deliberately used the Italians as cannon fodder, and more besides.

3. Eugenics. Till the 70s this was widely practiced in America with forced sterilizations without knowledge or consent.

4. Israel can do no wrong crowd. First off according to the UN, in 1945 Palestinians owned 94 percent of the land in what we call Israel today and were the Majority. The Israelis demanded over half the land and began a series of genocidal operations and ethnic cleansing operations.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not Germany that killed as of the last accurate accounting some 5,879,067 Jews (Note due to destruction of records, there is no truly accurate count of those killed, so this may be lowered or higher as more documents are found) Since it was Germany, Israel should have been formed in Bavaria in the interest of Justice, not at the expense of the Palestinians who the Israelis treat like the Nazis treated them.

5. Iran is Evil. Lets see, the Iranians overthrew the brutal dictator we liked for a dictator we hated. Standard hypocrisy. Lets see the Ayatollahs since coming to power have fought only one war and they were the ones attacked. Iran does not care about the rest of the world and follows its own interests for its own people and demand their oil be paid for in something that is not mere fiat money such as the dollar.

Also the NPT allows Iran to develop and enrich uranium for its reactors. I suggest you read it.

6. The Almighty USAF preachers. Newsflash the USAF is anything but almighty. It could not find the scuds in Desert Storm, they did not despite their claims destroy most of the Iraqi Armor, the M1s killed most Iraqi Armor, in Kosovo the USAF constantly hit dummy aircraft and did not establish Air Supremacy so the Serbs were still able to launch 300 sorties to support the Serbian forces. In Afghanistan, the USAF spent billions attacking Airfields fill of planes that were no longer functional and had been known to be non-function since 1998.

And this is the tip of the Ice Berg.

My name is Garry Redmon and I like tanks, especially World War II tanks. My only claim to fame is being a volunteer with the Patton Museum at Fort Knox, Kentucky. I also run the volunteer web site at http://www.armorfortheages.com

Right now we have ongoing projects on a PzKpfw IV, an SdKfz 251D/9 and an M4A3E2 Jumbo Sherman named Cobra King that I'm sure some of you have read about in this forum from the Patton Museum's curator.

Salut,

A bientôt
Séb
