Hello my name is Rudi born in 1963, I am from Brussels and allways been interested in WW2 (military in general)
As a small child I played with plastics soldiers and tanks in the garden between the potatos and carrots ;)
I served in the Belgian army for 5 years, but that is some 20 years ago.
My interest went bigger with the seen of the Band Of Brothers movie's, thanks to the internet we can now find some information (true or note that's something else).

greetings
Rudi

Welcome to the forum, Rudi! Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, etc. has certainly helped spark interest in World War II. At the same time, however, World War II is beginning to fade, as those who experienced it first-hand pass away.

Hey I am Nate. I have been interested in tanks from the second world since hearing my grandfather talk about his Sherman tank. I joined the National Guard out of high school with my sights set on being a tanker, but unfortunately all i got to do was ride around in an Abrams a few times before the army felt I was of better use doing something else so now i fix radar systems.
